Veronica Dillon recently joined Russell Accident Law. She’s a people person, so she fits in perfectly with the rest of the team. Her favourite part about being a lawyer is working with clients to find solutions to their legal problems.
Veronica is not new to personal injury law. She articled at Ches Crosbie Barristers, the firm that was later renamed Russell Accident Law, and continued to work there as a lawyer after being called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1998. In 2002, she took an in-house counsel position with an insurance company where she gained experience from the other side. Now she’s back where she belongs and excited to be working with her former colleagues once again.
Veronica grew up in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration and law degrees at the University of New Brunswick before moving to St. John’s with her Newfoundland husband.
Veronica has two young children and she is a die-hard hockey mom. Both her daughter and son play hockey, so she’s at the rink to cheer them on most days of the week. She’s also co-chair of her children’s school council and enjoys running, working out at the gym, and attending exercise classes.
