About Darlene

Darlene Russell is the owner and operator of Russell Accident Law. She holds the 2018 Best Lawyers in Canada “Lawyer of the Year” award in St. John’s Personal Injury Litigation.

Clients know Darlene for her approachability and result-driven representation. Helping clients and interacting with people is what Darlene enjoys most about car accident and personal injury law.

Darlene grew up in Bay Roberts and now lives in Clarke’s Beach. Russell Accident Law has a satellite office in Bay Roberts, and Darlene is happy to meet with clients at both St. John’s and Bay Roberts locations.

When she’s not helping clients, Darlene enjoys Zumba classes, hiking, traveling, baking, and cooking. Darlene is famous for her Halloween enthusiasm and the word is she throws a great party.

Darlene Russell graduated from Memorial University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Major in Dietetics.

She obtained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick in 1993 and has practiced law in Newfoundland and Labrador since 1994.

Current member of both the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
Past member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador Insurance Committee and a past member of Memorial University’s Board of Regents.
